Social Work Month: Tehya Robinson

March 19, 2025

Tehya Robinson has dedicated seven years to the healthcare field, beginning her journey as a CNA and now working toward her Bachelor’s in Social Work. Her passion for helping others has driven her to step into the role of Director of Social Services, where she strives to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

For Tehya, the most rewarding part of her role is the comfort and happiness she brings to residents, whether it’s on their best days or during their most challenging moments. The deep connections she builds and the impact she makes each day keep her motivated, even during the toughest times in healthcare.

What first sparked Tehya’s passion for working with this population was the fulfillment she felt in providing care and comfort to those in need. That rewarding feeling continues to inspire her every day. At the heart of her work are the residents she serves—guiding her, motivating her, and reinforcing her dedication to making a difference in their lives.

We are grateful for Tehya’s unwavering compassion and commitment to our community, and we celebrate the incredible work she does to support our residents and their families!

Long-Term Care Administrator’s Week: Shannon Landrum

March 14, 2025

Shannon Landrum, the Executive Director at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation, has dedicated over 20 years to healthcare. Her journey in the field began as a CNA, where she worked in the very community she now leads. Through years of hard work and commitment to her patients, Shannon advanced from LPN to RN, ultimately earning her Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

Shannon’s passion for healthcare began with a desire to make a difference in the lives of the elderly population. She recognized early on that for many seniors, the Care tTam members may be the only source of support they have due to circumstances beyond their control. This realization fueled her commitment to providing compassionate care and making sure that each resident feels valued and cared for.

After years of growing in the healthcare field, Shannon returned to the community where she began her journey, this time as the Director of Nursing, and now, Executive Director. For her, knowing that the care she provides truly makes a difference in the lives of residents is an incredible feeling that continues to inspire her daily.

Shannon’s leadership is rooted in her belief that every individual deserves the best possible care, and her unwavering dedication to this mission continues to shape Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation into a community where compassion, commitment, and exceptional care are at the heart of everything they do.
