Resident Success Story: Donald
March 3, 2020Mr. Donald Moore came to Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation after a hospital stay. Mr. Moore was unable to complete any tasks independently; including sitting unsupported on the edge of the bed. He was also unable to ambulate or even transfer without assistance. Mr. Moore’s wife, Mary, stayed by his side throughout his hospital stay to assist with patient care in hopes to take Donald “Duck” back home with her assistance. Mr. Moore required intense therapy to safely return home with his family support. After 3 weeks of therapy and care from nursing, Donald returned home! He made such great improvements; including walking without assistance 300+ feet and transferring without assistance. Mary stated that she is so happy with the progress he has made, and everyone has been so nice while they were in the facility. Congrats Duck on your accomplishments!
