Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation is excited to share resident Don Harper’s Success Story!

Don Harper was admitted to Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation on April 28th, 2022 after a fall left him with a fracture on his right leg with severe muscle weakness. When Mr. Harper started therapy, he required a lot of assistance. He needed help transferring in and out of bed, help transfer from sitting to standing, and he was not able to walk. Even completing regular daily tasks independently were difficult. With extreme motivation and participation, Mr. Harper was able to complete the sitting to standing transfer with minimal assistances, walk again with a rolling walker and with help from family, he could transfer in and out of bed again! He has become much more independent with daily tasks and continues to improve each day on his healing journey as he returns home. Mr. Harper said he enjoyed the “comradery” being at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation and enjoyed going to therapy and socializing.
