Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation is proud to shine the spotlight on resident Sandra Guy’s Success Story!

Mrs. Sandra Guy was admitted to Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation after a fracture to her right leg, which left her unable to return home. Upon admission, she was unable to bear any weight on her leg or complete her daily care tasks independently. She needed maximum assistances with transferring and walking. During her stay, Mrs. Guy and her husband, Charlie, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. On March 9th, our community provided a second wedding ceremony with a preacher, decorations, and a wedding cake for the couple. Employees and fellow residents attended Ms. and Mr. Guy’s beautiful renewal ceremony that was later featured in the local newspaper and in McKnight’s Long-Term Care Newsletter!

With a lot of hard work in therapy, Mrs. Guy was recently able to discharge back home with her husband. Congratulations to Sandra and her Care Team on their success!
