Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation is excited to share resident Shelby Smith’s Success Story!

Mrs. Shelby Smith was admitted to Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation on May 2nd following a hospital stay due to frequent falls and an infection. Upon arrival, she needed increased assistance with daily tasks, transfers, and walking due to decreased balance, strength, and endurance.

With the support of Physical and Occupational Therapy, Mrs. Smith worked hard to regain her independence! Through focused rehabilitation, she achieved her goals and returned home on June 16th, where she reunited with her husband—who had a special date planned to welcome her back.

During her stay, Mrs. Smith was a joy to have, often socializing with fellow residents and attending activities. We’re so proud of her progress and wish her all the best!
